Lynda was born in Gander,1963, she has lived most of her life in the province of Newfoundland and Labrador. She discovered her natural ability to paint while attending Commercial Art at Cabot College of Applied Art and Technology, now the College of the North Atlantic, St.John's, Newfoundland.

Since graduating in 1983, Lynda has developed her own artistic techniques and distinctive painting style.

Newfoundland's cultural and natural landscapes are Lynda's favorite scenes to capture, primarily with oil on canvas. She has exhibited her work at several galleries in St.John's since 1992.
